melissa van zee, founder of van zee design associates is a well respected interior designer. since 1997, melissa has been specializing in residential and commercial interior design. her notable skill in conceptual design has earned her a reputation as one of california's premiere interior designers. her work has been featured in design related articles and publications.

born and raised in california, melissa's work has always had an affinity for elements of structural design and aesthetics and the impact of color. melissa graduated from the FIDER accredited california state university of fresno with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. melissa's professional experience is garnered through her work with a prominent commercial architectural firm in san francisco to the california east bay's premiere residential firm now to her own studio in orange county, california.
